Brussels Pride is Belgium's largest LGBTQ+ event and one of the biggest in Europe, drawing over 200,000 people to the city centre each May. It combines a major street parade with a Pride Village, cultural programme, political debates, and after parties across the city.
The Pride parade gathers at the Mont des Arts area and moves through the city centre, passing some of Brussels' most iconic streets and landmarks. The Pride Village is traditionally set up around the Mont des Arts, which becomes the central hub for the full day's festivities.
The best area to stay for Brussels Pride is close to the city centre, ideally within walking distance of the Grand Place and the Quartier Saint-Jacques. Hotels in this area fill quickly for Pride weekend, so booking early is strongly advised.
Brussels is one of Europe's most accessible cities. Eurostar runs direct from London St Pancras to Brussels-Midi in under two hours. It's also a major hub for Thalys, Intercity Express, and budget European rail connections, as well as being well-served by flights into Brussels Airport (BRU) and Brussels South Charleroi (CRL).
